Gift Voucher Terms (Ireland)
1. Redemption Location: Gift vouchers may only be redeemed at the pharmacy identified by the code or name printed on the voucher.
2. Partial Redemption: Vouchers can be partially redeemed, with any remaining balance available for future use before the expiry date.
3. Payment Combination: Vouchers may be used alongside cash or other accepted
payment methods.
4. Restricted Purchases: Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase prescription medications or baby food items.
5. Expiry: Gift vouchers are subject to applicable Irish legal limits, ensuring a minimum redemption period of 5 years from the date of issue (per the Consumer Protection (Gift Vouchers) Act 2019), unless stated otherwise. Some providers may offer extended validity or lifetime guarantees—please check your voucher or contact the issuing pharmacy for details.
6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Vouchers: The pharmacy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers. Replacement may be possible only with valid proof of purchase and the voucher code.
7. Refunds & Returns: Items purchased using a gift voucher can only be refunded as store credit or a replacement voucher, not cash.
8. Non-Exchangeable: Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
9. Transferability: Unless otherwise stated on the voucher, gift vouchers are transferable and may be used by any person who presents the voucher for redemption.
10. Other Restrictions: Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase other vouchers and
may not be valid with certain promotions or discounts, unless specified by the pharmacy.
